National Technology Initiatives
On the national level, I work with counterparts on technology initiatives for Mobility Management and Human Services Transportation. Mobility Management has different approaches and definitions depending on the context. In 2014, the Community Transportation Association of America's (CTAA) Scott Bogran interviewed me about Mobility Management technology needs. In 2013, I served on a review panel for the Transit Cooperative Research Program’s (TCRP) Standardizing Data for Mobility Management report. The contents of the report have influenced my work a great deal. During 2014, I presented at the GTFS for the Rest of Us event in Washington D.C. and have remained engaged on issues of open transit data. During the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) conference in 2014, I presented on progress of the Simply Get There online trip-planning platform, a project I was managing at the time. |
National Conference Support
I also play an active role in national conference planning. In 2013, I was a Mobile Workshops Subcommittee member in preparation for the American Planning Association’s (APA) 2014 national conference in Atlanta. During 2015, I helped with the Community Transportation Association of America’s (CTAA) "Implementing Technology in Community Transportation" mini-conference. |
