During 2016-2017, I worked with the City of Atlanta in the Information Technology (IT) department as the Senior Program Manager of the "SmartATL" Smart Cities Program with a view into the future of Smart Cities.
- Autonomous and Connected Vehicles - Presented to the Perimeter Community Improvement District on "Atlanta Commuting 2.0" to explain how autonomous and connected vehicles, connected infrastructure, and connected people may dramatically change cities in the future.
- Cybersecurity - Liaised with City staff working on Cybersecurity, one of the greatest concerns with ubiquitous technology in the urban environment.
- Surveillance Concerns - Addressed community concerns on surveillance during a 2017 presentation at Transportation Camp as "smart" technology is sometimes perceived by the public to work both for and against their personal safety.
