This office interior, completed in 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia, was the first project by John Portman and Associates (JPA) to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) building certification. As LEED project coordinator, I was responsible for setting sustainable design targets, coordinating all team members (engineers, contractors, architects), and adjusting plans as necessary. For many of the credits, analysis and quantitative/qualitative support was required to justify financial expense. For this, a cost-benefit analysis was completed. * All images property of JPA.
